The first reason is that it's another way for you to start to understand the issues around sexual addiction and recovery. Another good reason is that it helps the site be more interesting. The blog is the place that most non-subscribers will go to read up on things. We have around 100 regular readers according to our statistics. You can really round out the discussion by adding your thoughts to the articles posted there.

Don't be afraid to comment on older articles. It helps bring those old articles, which are still full of inspiration and information, to the attention of our blog readers.

Another good reason to comment on the blog is to thank the author of an article you really liked or found helpful. It's difficult to put your thoughts out there and then not know if they were really appreciated. Just posting a simple "thank you" will go a long way towards encouraging our blog authors to post more.

This next reason for commenting may not appeal to you, but we hope it will. We are always looking for new blog authors, people who have shown some insight into the issues about sexually abusive behavior. When you make thoughtful comments on the blog, you might catch the attention of the webmaster and get asked to become a blog author. Don't let that scare you away from commenting. You can always say "no" if you don't want to become an author on the blog.

Perhaps the most immediate reason to comment on the blog is to get rid of the pesky reminder that keeps showing up at the top of your pages here. Sorry about the coercion, but we really think that commenting on the blog is a good idea.
